Rock in the snow

Something about this rock, tree and the snow caught my eye. Although I know that the photo was taken on a cold roadside, it looks like a studio shot with fake snow. All the light was filtered through thick clouds above. It had been blowing snow until just a couple of minutes before I took the picture.
